# NSP Mobile Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 30, 2026

NSP Mobile is a companion client for a personal NSP hardware kit. The app connects to the user's own backend device and cellular modem to provide calls, SMS, contacts, call history, and modem controls.

## Data The App Uses

The app may access and display:

- Phone numbers, contact names, and contact avatars from the user's device address book, if permission is granted.
- Call history and SMS data received from the user's own NSP backend device.
- Device registration data required to connect the app to the user's NSP backend.
- Push notification tokens used to deliver incoming call and message notifications.

## How Data Is Processed

NSP Mobile communicates with the backend URL configured by the user during device enrollment. The app does not provide a public communications service and does not route user data through a shared NSP cloud service by default.

Call, SMS, modem, and device data are processed between the user's mobile device and the user's own NSP backend device.

## Data Sharing

NSP Mobile does not sell personal data. The app does not share contacts, SMS, call history, or modem data with advertisers or analytics providers.

Push notifications may be delivered through Apple Push Notification service when the iOS app is used.

## Contact Access

If the user grants contact permission, contacts are used locally to display names and avatars for phone numbers. Contacts are not uploaded to a third-party advertising or analytics service.

## Data Retention

Data retention depends on the user's own NSP backend device configuration. The app can display data stored by that backend. Removing the app from a device does not automatically delete data stored on the user's backend device.

## Security

The app connects to the configured backend over HTTPS. Device enrollment requires an authorization token provided by the backend owner.
